Meeting the New Challenges of Gen Z

How does the artistic process deepen collaborative practices inside and outside of the classroom while highlighting the creative process inherent in every discipline? And how do artistic experiences influence the skills our learners need in order to flourish in the 21st century world? In thishands-on workshop, a team of McDonogh educators, artists, and innovators will address these questions as well as equip participants with strategies to create a culture of thinking in their communities through the use of arts-based, sensory rich experiences.

 
Making Schools Safe: Twentieth Anniversary Program

This year, AIMS is celebrating its twentieth anniversary with a program on the theme Where Have We Been, and Where Are We Going? This program will bring together several of the original founders and committee members, along with current administrators, school parents, and students. Twenty years ago, our first keynote speaker was Kevin Jennings, Founder of GLSEN, and this year, our closing keynote speaker will be Jabari Lyles, Chairperson and Education Manager for GLSEN Baltimore. Please join us for this inspiring anniversary program.
